The selection of artists for SPEDITION 3.0 has been made.

SPEDITION is an art exhibition organized, conceived and implemented by us - the artists. We are actively involved in the process of creating the concepts for each space. As a “shipping company“ (German:  Spedition) the focus of the exhibition lies on exchange. SPEDITION 3.0 is the third version of the exhibition series and also the first international one. SPEDITION is a media exhibition and revolves around photography, video/film, light and digital media - it is open to new concepts with a reference to media art. For SPEDITION 3.0 we were looking for artists in Germany and Thailand (Bangkok). We are interested in respectful exchange about our lives with similar professions in different backgrounds.

The MASTERCLASS will consist of digital meetings where we will work together to finalize the exhibition concept. Throughout the process, each artist will continue to elaborate on the current work they plan to showcase at SPEDITION 3.0. We will discuss the content, elaboration, as well as the social, aesthetic, or political focus of the works, taking into account their current status. For this purpose, we also invite curators, artists and professors to the sessions for their feedback. In addition, we will collectively explore visual and thematic connections between our works, aiming to align them with the core concept of SPEDITION through the notions of transparency and transfer.

The OPEN CALL ran until February 2023, and as it is a very democratic exhibition concept that advocates for equal opportunities and against intersectional disadvantage, the OPEN CALL was evaluated in three steps by a jury of nine. The jury included artists from previous SPEDITIONS, artists from Thailand, and curators from renowned institutions in both countries.
